Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR Reddy's chopper that went missing on Wednesday, has been found on top of Rudrakod Hill, 10 km from Atmakur, near Kurnool.
The Air Force has confirmed the news. The home ministry too has confirmed the reports, but it's still not clear if the CM is safe.
The home minister is going to brief Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
Ghatak platoons of the Army are reaching the hilltop. Para commandos of the army who have been moved from Bangalore are slithgering down at the spot any moment now. They will ascertain the state of helicopter and survivours if any.
Air Force copters are encircling the spot and it's not clear whether the chopper has crashed.
The Andhra CM's helicopter had gone went missing on Wednesday.
