In what seems to be a big breakthrough in Saturday's Pune blast investigation, sources have told a news channel that CCTV footage obtained of the front area of the German bakery at the time of the blast, have provided important clues.
The CCTV footage of a five star hotel, which is on the opposite direction of the German bakery, reportedly shows two suspects and has captured their images. The footage shows one of them talking on a cell phone and the other one holding a bag.
Thesecurity agencies hope that the CCTV camera installed in front of the hotel would give them clues about those who planted the bomb opposite the bakery.
The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has taken the possession of the footage and NIA team from Delhi is also monitoring the images.
In the first major terror strike in India after 26/11, nine people were killed and 45 injured when a high-intensity bomb exploded at the German Bakery at Koregaon Park, Pune, on Saturday evening.
