In the verge of CRPF’s massacre that send the country into a shock wave, India’s Home Minister P. Chidambaram has stated to quit after receiving a strong criticism and in this reaction the opposition party BJP leaders had asked him to confront the challenge, asking him not to quit.
Regarding Chidambaram’s current phase the Opposition party stated, “He is a victim of his own idiom." In contrary to his absurd decision to quit, the BJP leaders strongly criticized for taking into a defeat instead of confronting the challenge of Maoist."
In consequence to Chidambaram’s decision to quit, the opposition party has asked him to stay on his position instead of brooding over his responsibility for the massacre of CRPF jawans as when the nation is in a delicate position with extreme threats from the Maoist there is need to sort out things to combat the current phase of situation. Since his quit can demoralize the spirit of the nation to overcome their stance to combat against the Maoist and win over them.
In this context, BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy with an encouraging word to Chidambaram stated, "The BJP is not demanding his resignation. The government needs to do its best and provide logistical support to the war against Naxals."
