New Delhi: Apr 07, 2010

P Chidambaram over the anti-Naxal operations in the state till now.

“The UPA government must take strong measures to crush this menace, and the BJP will support them in all such measures,” Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley said.

“It is a war on India... This is an attempt by the Maoists to usurp and overthrow Indian democracy. The government should launch an all-out offensive and it should be a fight to the finish. The BJP would support the government in this,” said party spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy. He also added that the Union government and state governments must act together on the matter.
